PE Teacher (Netball Specialist) – Maternity Cover

Contract: Maternity Cover – up to 1 year
Start Date: September 2026

A fantastic secondary school in Chislehurst is seeking to appoint a qualified PE Teacher with a Netball specialism to cover a maternity leave for up to one year.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate, high-performing and supportive PE department, teaching within the Senior School and working with motivated and enthusiastic students.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS and have experience teaching PE at secondary level
• Have a particular passion and specialism in Netball
• Be able to plan and deliver high-quality PE and Games lessons across the curriculum
• Lead the school’s Netball team and attend fixtures/tournaments
• Promote participation in sport and co-curricular activities
• Be happy to take on form tutor responsibilities
• Be energetic, committed and professional
• Contribute positively to the wider pastoral and co-curricular life of the school
