The Role & About the Client
ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager on behalf of a well-established contractor operating within the housing groundworks and civil engineering sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor working across the South Coast. The successful candidate will have a strong background in housing groundworks and civils, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience across groundworks, Section 278 works, drainage, kerbing and manholes.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Managing housing groundworks and civil engineering projects.
• Overseeing groundworks, drainage, kerbing and manhole works.
• Managing and coordinating Section 278 (S278) works.
• Liaising with site teams, clients and other project stakeholders.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring works are delivered effectively.
• Supporting the successful delivery of housing groundworks and associated civils works.
• Ensuring works are completed to the required standards and specifications.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience within the construction and civil engineering sector.
• Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager.
• Strong experience within housing groundworks.
• Civils experience.
• Experience with Section 278 (S278) works.
• Strong knowledge of drainage, kerbing and manhole works.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
