Senior Electoral Services Officer REF: 2998
PO2: £44,937 pa rising in annual increments to £47,925 inc LW.
2 x Permanent and Full Time
Do you want to build your knowledge, experience and skills in a dynamic and people-focussed London electoral services team?
Lambeth is looking for two highly motivated individuals to lead in strategic and operational electoral registration activities and the conduct of elections.
Acting as a senior driving force for the team, you’ll need excellent analytical, operational and critical thinking skills to meet a range of daily challenges, including year-round electoral registration, the conduct of elections and referenda and continuous service improvement.
You’ll have a proven track record in electoral registration and elections or suitable transferrable skills and experience. You’ll also currently hold or be willing to work towards gaining the AEA Certificate in Electoral Administration.
Additionally, you must be able to work flexibly, particularly at election times when significant evening and weekend working is required.

You’ll be thorough and proactive, with excellent communication and organisational skills, along with a keen eye for detail.
You’ll also be able to:
- Deliver complex and demanding tasks to strict deadlines.
- Demonstrate collaborative teamwork skills.
- Use information technology and data to drive innovation and improve service delivery.
- Understand and apply best practice with a high level of quality assurance in service delivery and customer care.
- Show adaptability and resilience when working under pressure at peak times.

Building on outreach and engagement successes to encourage greater democratic participation.

Planning and preparation for the 2028 Mayor of London and London Assembly elections.
