Jackson Hogg are delighted to be exclusively partnering with our long-standing client for the appointment of a Maintenance Manager on a permanent basis. In this role you are the site-responsible engineer for the safe and on time delivery of all aspects of mechanical engineering and maintenance.

Job Description

  • Develop and lead the implementation of asset care programme; maintenance strategies and techniques, condition-based maintenance, reliability best practices and preventative maintenance optimisation etc
  • Functional Safety Awareness and knowledge of ATEX Regulations.
  • Own the asset register ensuring effective maintenance strategies are in place for critical assets.
  • Lead on RCM and FMECA studies.
  • Ensure mechanical maintenance and inspections are carried out as per regulatory requirements.
  • Drives continuous improvement of reliability and continuous reduction of maintenance costs by structured identification and elimination of issues using ALPs.
  • Detailed analysis of leading and lagging Asset Management KPI’s.
  • Ensures early identification and resolution of reliability issues by monitoring existing programs, historical trends and KPI data.
  • Lead technical problem-solving activities with key stakeholders.
  • Lead RCA and failure-finding activities ensuring findings are implemented.
  • Develop the capital investment plan for area of responsibility.
  • Lead on-time delivery of reliability improvement projects.

Skills Required

  • Time served Mechanical Engineer
  • Ideally you will be qualified to Degree Level
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status
  • Experience within hazardous industries
  • NEBOSH certified
  • Previous experience of leading a team
