Job Description
- Develop and lead the implementation of asset care programme; maintenance strategies and techniques, condition-based maintenance, reliability best practices and preventative maintenance optimisation etc
- Functional Safety Awareness and knowledge of ATEX Regulations.
- Own the asset register ensuring effective maintenance strategies are in place for critical assets.
- Lead on RCM and FMECA studies.
- Ensure mechanical maintenance and inspections are carried out as per regulatory requirements.
- Drives continuous improvement of reliability and continuous reduction of maintenance costs by structured identification and elimination of issues using ALPs.
- Detailed analysis of leading and lagging Asset Management KPI’s.
- Ensures early identification and resolution of reliability issues by monitoring existing programs, historical trends and KPI data.
- Lead technical problem-solving activities with key stakeholders.
- Lead RCA and failure-finding activities ensuring findings are implemented.
- Develop the capital investment plan for area of responsibility.
- Lead on-time delivery of reliability improvement projects.
Skills Required
- Time served Mechanical Engineer
- Ideally you will be qualified to Degree Level
- Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status
- Experience within hazardous industries
- NEBOSH certified
- Previous experience of leading a team
