Job Title: Service Manager – Fire & Security
Location: Midlands
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Package (DOE)

Are you a Service Manager – Fire & Security based in the Midlands looking for your next opportunity? As a Service Manager – Fire & Security, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day service and maintenance operations of fire and security systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and public sector sites. You will join an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and coordinate a team of field-based service engineers, ensuring efficient scheduling and workload allocation.
* Take ownership of service contracts, monitoring KPIs and ensuring all maintenance and reactive call-outs are completed to the highest standard and within agreed SLAs.
* Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships to support contract retention and growth.
* Oversee the management of spare parts, equipment, and vehicle fleets to ensure engineers are resourced effectively.
* Ensure all service activities are carried out in full compliance with relevant industry standards, health and safety legislation, and company procedures.
* Produce regular management reports on service performance, engineer productivity, and contract profitability.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 5 years' experience within the fire and security industry, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
* Proven experience managing service contracts covering fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and/or access control systems.
* Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards including BS 5839, BS EN 50131, and NSI/BAFE scheme requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop field-based engineering teams in a fast-paced service environment.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems or NSI Gold/Silver accreditation experience (desirable).
