Salary: £24,000 pa
We are looking for a friendly, professional and highly organised Legal Receptionist / Legal Assistant to join our client's busy and supportive law firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a client-facing role while providing administrative support to a busy legal team. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls.
- Managing appointments and meeting room bookings.
- Opening and maintaining client files.
- Completing client onboarding and identity verification checks.
- Preparing routine legal correspondence and documents.
- Providing administrative support to solicitors and fee earners.
- Liaising with clients and third parties.
- Assisting with general office administration as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative or legal support role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively as part of a team.
- A professional, proactive and reliable approach.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent client care.
Previous experience within a legal environment would be advantageous.
