Design Manager

Our client, a leading firm in the engineering and construction sector, is currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team for a WWTW project).

• Overseeing the design processes to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget
• Coordinating with various project stakeholders to ensure seamless design execution
• Managing design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Leading design meetings and providing technical guidance to the design team
• Ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications
• Resolving any design-related issues that arise during project execution
• Supporting the project team in understanding design requirements and expectations
• Collaborating with contractors and suppliers to ensure design alignment and integration

Job Requirements:

• Experience in design management within the engineering and construction industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency with design software and tools
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience in water treatment works or similar projects is desirable
• Local to Oxford or within a commutable distance
