Project Manager - Rail

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong rail civils background to lead the safe, high-quality delivery of rail infrastructure works across the Network Rail estate.
This role is a contract position that has been deemed inside IR35.
This is a cradle-to-grave delivery role, responsible for driving performance against programme, cost, quality and customer outcomes-while embedding the right standards and behaviours across the delivery team and supply chain.

The role

You'll take overall accountability for the successful delivery of a project (or portfolio of works), working to the business objectives and ensuring:

• Projects are delivered safely, to a high quality, within financial targets, and to agreed programmes
• Project deliverables are closed out effectively and on time
• Customer progress meetings are attended by the right people, with information presented clearly and professionally
• Clear values and expected behaviours are communicated and upheld across the team and supply chain
• Full compliance with relevant standards, company policies and procedures and customer governance processes

What we're looking for

• Proven Project Management experience delivering rail infrastructure works
• Strong civils background (heavy civils / rail civils)
• Demonstrable experience working on Network Rail infrastructure
• Working knowledge of NEC Option A contracts
• Experience using CEMAR
• End-to-end delivery experience (from initiation through to handover/close-out)
• Degree-qualified Engineer (or equivalent)
• Valid PTS and CSCS
