An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing / Reliability / Quality Engineer to join an innovative and fast-growing organisation within the medical technology sector. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge products, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance as new technology is brought to market.
Key ResponsibilitiesReliability Engineering
- Plan and execute reliability test programmes (HALT, HASS, accelerated life testing)
- Conduct FMEA and fault tree analysis (FTA)
- Analyse test and field data to generate reliability predictions
- Maintain reliability documentation
Quality Engineering
- Lead investigations into non-conformances and failures
- Drive root cause analysis and CAPA activities
- Define and monitor quality KPIs
- Support verification and validation (V&V) activities
Quality Systems & Compliance
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and regulatory standards
- Support audits, document control, and supplier quality processes
Cross-Functional Support
- Work with Manufacturing, R&D and Regulatory teams
- Provide training and quality guidance
- Prepare and review documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline
- Experience in Quality, Reliability or Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience in regulated industries (medical devices preferred)
- Strong experience with FMEA, CAPA, V&V and QMS
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 / ISO 9001 / 21 CFR 820 desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
