Key Responsibilities

As a Sous Chef, you will:

• Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals
• Support and guide the kitchen team during service
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation
• Ensure dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard
• Step up and take responsibility for the kitchen when required

What we’re looking for

To be successful as a Sous Chef, you’ll need:

• Previous experience in a Sous Chef or senior chef position
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• The ability to confidently support and lead a kitchen team
• A reliable and professional approach
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Flexibility to provide occasional weekend and night cover during holidays
