Multi-Skills Lecturer – Construction

Location: Doncaster
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Long-term Temporary – Sick Cover
Start Date: September 2026

TR2 Recruitment are currently working with a Further Education provider in Doncaster who are looking for an experienced Multi-Skills Lecturer to join their Construction department on a long-term temporary basis, covering a period of sickness.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Lecturer or Multi-Skills Tutor looking for a full-time position from September.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical teaching across a range of Construction Multi-Skills programmes, supporting learners to develop both their practical skills and underpinning knowledge.

You will be expected to:

Deliver high-quality practical and theory-based sessions within Construction Multi-Skills.
Teach and support learners across relevant Construction levels.
Plan and prepare engaging lessons and learning activities.
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate learner records and assessment documentation.
Ensure all practical activities are delivered safely and in line with Health & Safety requirements.
Support learners with their development, progression and achievement.
Work effectively as part of the wider Construction teaching team.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have a strong background within the Construction industry, ideally with experience across multiple trades or a Multi-Skills background.

You should have:

Relevant Level 3 Construction qualification or equivalent industry experience.
Previous experience delivering Construction or Multi-Skills training within an FE, training or educational environment.
Strong practical knowledge across a range of Construction disciplines.
A recognised teaching qualification is desirable.
An assessor qualification would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to learner achievement and development.
A strong understanding of Construction Health & Safety.
