Milk Education are recruiting Level 2 EYFS Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children develop confidence, independence and a love for learning during the most important stages of their educational journey.

About the Role

As a Level 2 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children across Nursery and Reception classes.
• Assist with the delivery of engaging and interactive learning activities.
• Encourage children’s social, emotional and communication development.
• Support early phonics, literacy and numeracy learning.
• Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
• Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Support children with additional needs where required.

About You

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Hold a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or a related field.
• Have experience working with children within an EYFS, school or childcare setting.
• Have a basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
• Are patient, caring and passionate about supporting children’s development.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Hold, or are willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
