Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Controls

Our client, a prominent organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Controls to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based in Barrow and offers a unique opportunity to work on highly critical projects within the submarine solutions domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the planning, monitoring, and control processes for complex projects
• Developing and maintaining project schedules and control structures
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Providing regular project status reports and updates to senior management
• Ensuring compliance with project management standards and practices
• Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Utilising project management tools and software to track and report on project progress
• Mentoring and guiding junior project professionals within the team

Job Requirements:

• Experience in project planning, monitoring, and control within the Defence & Security sector
• Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Must be a Sole British National
