An established engineering manufacturer in Ferndown is looking to recruit an experienced TIG Welder to join its busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for stable long-term work within a well-established manufacturing environment.
 
The successful candidate will be carrying out high-quality TIG welding on a range of fabricated and engineered components, working from technical drawings and production specifications while maintaining excellent quality standards.
 
The Role
As a TIG Welder, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• TIG welding to engineering drawings and production specifications.
• Producing high-quality welds to required standards.
• Working with fabricated and engineered components.
• Carrying out self-inspection of completed work.
• Supporting wider manufacturing and production activities where required.
• Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment.

What They’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as a TIG Welder.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Reliable with a positive approach to teamwork.

Desirable experience includes:

• Fabrication experience.
• Working with stainless steel, aluminium or thin gauge materials.
• Background within precision engineering or manufacturing.
