Class 2 drivers

We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) to join our clients growing team. This role involves delivering goods to multiple locations each day, ensuring timely, safe, and professional service to our customers.

Site induction & Driver Assessments —available from 20th August—- limited spaces available

• MON – FRI £17.00 PER HOUR
• SATURDAY £19.00
• SUNDAY £19.50
• EARLY STARTS 03.00
• 9.5hr – 12hr SHIFTS
• 7 DAY A WEEK OPERATION – must be flexible with shift pattern
• Newly Qualified drivers welcome

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out deliveries to regional stores and locals
• Load and unload goods as required
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
• Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Comply with all driving laws, EU driver hours, and company policies

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) – New passes welcome
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous delivery experience preferred but not essential
• Good knowledge of local and regional road networks
• Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting, cage work
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
