About the role
Backline Logistics Plymouth are seeking HGV Class 2/ Category C Dustcart Drivers for an immediate start for an environmental services company in Tavistock, Devon. This role is full time and ongoing.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00am until finish paid at £17.00 per hour, overtime is paid at £22.61 after 9 hours daily. There is plenty of overtime available.
Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
There are temp to perm opportunities available for the right candidate.
About This role:
- Main duties include driving rear-end loaders and assisting with loading recycling bins when required and/or driving Romaquip Recycling vehicles.
- Usual shifts are Monday to Friday, starting from 07:00am until finish.
- You will be paid for a minimum of 9 hours per day, starting at £17.00 per hour PAYE. Enhanced overtime rate is paid after 9 hours.
- You must hold a full UK Class 2 / Category C Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- You must hold a current and valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
- Be clean and professional at all times.
- Possess good written and spoken communication skills.

- Weekly Pay with an online platform to see your payslips ahead of payment.
- Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours paid per week available.
