Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join a leading machine and tool rental company based in Bromsgrove.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for ongoing, Monday to Friday work with the potential to secure a permanent position. The role involves nationwide deliveries, including both depot-to-depot and site deliveries, while also providing driving support to various depots across the Midlands when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out nationwide deliveries of machinery and tools
• Complete both depot-to-depot and site deliveries
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Comply with all driving legislation, tachograph regulations, and company procedures
• Work closely with the Transport Manager to support depots across the Midlands
• Opportunity to gain an IPAF licence

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Start time from 6:00am
• Flexibility may occasionally be required depending on delivery schedules

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence
• Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements
• Good knowledge of UK road networks
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
