About the role
HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) – Droitwich
Location: Droitwich
Job Type: Ongoing, Full-Time
Shift: Night Shift
Start Times: Between 4:00pm and 9:00pm
Immediate Starts Available
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to work for our client based in Droitwich. This is an ongoing opportunity offering regular work, competitive hourly rates and consistent night shifts.
Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday (Nights): £18.00 per hour (£20.17 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay)
- Saturday: £19.00 per hour (£21.29 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay)
- Sunday: £20.00 per hour (£22.41 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay)
Duties
- Driving HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) curtain-side vehicles
- Delivering palletised goods to customer locations
- Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Following all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations
- Completing delivery paperwork and using a digital tachograph correctly
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year’s HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving experience
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Strong commitment to health and safety
