Key Responsibilities and Duties

The responsibilities and main duties for this position include, but are not limited to:-

• Cleaning:

• Degrease the floor and machines to maintain a clean and safe working environment when required.
• Ensure all recoverable products are either packed or if below quality standard sent to the regrind area for reprocessing. No raw material or fittings are permitted to be “discarded” without authorisation from the Team Leader.
• To be responsible for ensuring that suitable cleaning equipment/materials are available at all times to enable the fulfilment of duties.
• Report any leaks on either the injection moulding machines or equipment in the area that requires attention to either the Setters / Team Leaders or Production Manager.
• Ensure that the level of housekeeping in the department is maintained at a high standard at all times and free of any potential hazards.
• To show self determination to drive up the level of house-keeping.
• To follow work instructions and procedures when completing the given task.
• Be flexible and assist/complete any other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the department.
• To cover for sickness and holiday periods when requested.
• To be able to work as part of a team or independently for long periods, without constant supervision.

Fixed shift Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm
