Y6 Primary Teacher

Provide Education are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in the DN20 area who are looking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher on a long-term basis starting in September.

This role involves taking responsibility for a Year 6 class through their final year of primary school, supporting SATs preparation and helping pupils make a confident transition into secondary education.

The school has a welcoming feel, with a supportive leadership team and staff who work closely together. There’s a real focus on pupil progress, consistency and making sure children are well supported both academically and personally.
What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 6
• Confidence supporting SATs preparation
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• A calm, consistent teaching style
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
