About the role
This Setting Out Engineer position offers a rare chance to shape one of the largest infrastructure developments in western Europe. You will play a crucial part in managing spatial data, handling precise setting out, and ensuring millimeter accuracy for a major cut and cover green tunnel project.
Deliver high accuracy engineering surveys and setting out on site using advanced robotic total stations.
Process complex data and establish tight survey control networks using Trimble Business Center as your primary platform.
Produce detailed topography plans and manage digital models seamlessly alongside the project design team.
Collaborate closely with construction crews to oversee internal structural fit outs, waterproofing, and extensive earthworks.
About You
You are a practical surveyor who thrives when working out on site alongside delivery teams rather than being tied to an office desk. Your technical expertise with modern equipment is backed up by a full driving licence and the flexibility to travel to regional project locations.
Demonstrate strong field experience with Trimble survey instrumentation alongside familiarity with Leica kit.
Possess a proven track record of managing topography mapping and engineering control on heavy civil engineering projects.
Show proficiency in using AutoCAD to process field data and update engineering drawings.
Hold a valid CSCS card alongside a formal qualification in surveying, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
