Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) looking for reliable work, excellent rates of pay, and long-term opportunities?
We're recruiting professional drivers based in Northampton to deliver palletised goods to major retail stores across the region, with routes reaching as far as Lowestoft.
Pay & Rewards
- £18.52 per hour (Days)
- £27.78 per hour Overtime
- Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed every shift
- Overtime paid after 8 hours at 1.5x rate
- Weekend shifts paid at 1.5x rate for drivers working 3+ days per week
- Annual pay reviews
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for:
- Multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods
- Up to 8 store deliveries per shift
- Using a tail lift to unload deliveries
- Placing pallets safely in designated delivery zones
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service
Shifts Available
We operate 7 days per week and have a range of shift patterns available.
- Priority will be given to drivers who can work at least one weekend day.
What We're Looking For
To be considered, you'll need:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC (DQC)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience (or 1 year retail delivery experience)
- No DD or DR convictions
- Ability to complete:
- 1-day driving assessment
- 2-day paid induction
- Guaranteed minimum 8-hour pay
