Frimley, Surrey | £67.70 per hour, umbrella | Inside IR35 | 6 months initially | Hybrid - as and when required, maximum one day per week onsite | SC clearance requiredWe are recruiting for an experienced DevSecOps / Software Factory Engineer to support a major programme within the UK defence sector.The role will focus on the development and continuous improvement of a Software Factory used to support the delivery of next-generation software products. You will work within an Agile engineering team, developing solutions and capabilities that enable modern, efficient software development through DevSecOps and cloud computing services.Key Responsibilities

Design and implement solutions for the Software FactoryWork within an Agile team alongside the Scrum Master and Product OwnerSupport developers with design, development and code reviewsSupport software integration and product testingContribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps approaches and processesSupport downstream product integration within secure, air-gapped environments
Skills & Experience
We are looking for candidates with experience in areas such as:
DevSecOps / DevOps engineeringSoftware development and delivery environmentsCI/CD and development toolingCloud computing / cloud-ready environmentsSoftware integration and testingAgile deliveryDesigning and implementing technical solutionsSecure or air-gapped environments would be highly advantageous
Desirable:
Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Technology or ScienceMembership of a professional engineering institution recognised by the Engineering CouncilWorking towards IEng or CEng professional registration
