Children & Family Social Worker

Randstad is looking for a Children & Family Social Worker in East Lothian to provide support and protection to vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out comprehensive family assessments to determine risks and needs.
• Implement care plans that focus on the best interests of children.
• Support children in care and work to achieve permanent, stable placements.
• Provide intervention and support to families experiencing crisis.
• Liaise with schools, healthcare providers, and community organisations.

Requirements:

• Social Work qualification and SSSC registration.
• Experience in child protection and family support.
• Ability to work collaboratively and engage with resistant families.
