Gloucester District, Gloucester, UK Omega Resource Group Planning Manager Gloucestershire Permanent Salary up to £65,000 Role Overview - Planning Manager Omega are delighted to be supporting a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation in the recruitment of a Planning Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving planning performance across a complex manufacturing operation. Working closely with Operations, Supply Chain and senior stakeholders, you'll ensure customer demand, production capacity and material availability are aligned to deliver outstanding service and operational performance. Main Duties - Planning Manager Lead and develop the Planning team Translate customer demand into achievable production plans Balance demand, capacity and material availability Drive schedule adherence and delivery performance Support S&OP and wider planning activities Identify risks, constraints and recovery actions Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering teams Drive continuous improvement across planning processes and systems The Ideal Candidate - Planning Manager Previous experience in a Planning Manager, Master Scheduler or Production Planning role Strong manufacturing planning background Experience leading and developing teams Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems Experience managing production schedules, capacity and inventory Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Aerospace, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment desirable What We Are Able to Offer - Planning Manager Salary up to £65,000 Annual company bonus scheme Enhanced pension package Access to a range of employee retail and lifestyle discounts A visible leadership role with the opportunity to influence business performance and continuous improvement initiatives If you are a Planning Manager, Master Scheduler, Production Planning Manager, Planning Lead, Supply Chain Manager or Operations Planning Manager, you may also be suitable for this role.
