Criminal Justice Social Worker

An exciting locum opportunity is available for a skilled Criminal Justice Social Worker. Candidates with RoSH (Risk of Serious Harm) assessment experience are highly desirable. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality interventions within a custodial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct RoSH assessments and manage risk for high-risk offenders.
• Provide social work services to individuals within the prison system.
• Collaborate with prison staff and multi-agency partners to ensure effective intervention.
• Develop and implement risk management plans to reduce reoffending.

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work and SSSC registration.
• Experience in criminal justice and prison-based social work.
• RoSH (Risk of Serious Harm) assessment training/experience preferred.
• Strong risk assessment and management skills.
