Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sparkford, Somerset.

The successful candidate will work as part of a busy production team, operating factory machinery and equipment, assembling products using hand and air tools, carrying out quality checks, and preparing finished goods for distribution. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and build a career in manufacturing and production.

• £12.71 per hour.
• Full-time, stable working hours.
• Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm.
• Early finish on Fridays, 7:30am-1:30pm.

• Operate and maintain factory machinery and production equipment.
• Assemble manufactured products using hand and air tools.
• Inspect and test products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Package and label finished goods for internal and external distribution.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company regulations.
• Work as part of a production team to achieve manufacturing targets and deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support the optimisation of manufacturing and production processes.

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, factory, or machine operating environment is desirable.
• Experience using machinery, hand tools, air tools, or production equipment is advantageous.
• Strong work ethic with a reliable and conscientious approach.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow production instructions accurately.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
