Pay: £14.00 to £20.00 per hour (Weekly Pay plus Holiday Pay)

Stepping into a high pressure care environment takes a special kind of support worker. We need individuals who can remain completely calm under pressure and bring stability when a young person is feeling overwhelmed.

We have immediate opportunities in Hengrove and the surrounding South Bristol and North Somerset border. You will support young people with complex needs, including autism and trauma backgrounds, ensuring they receive consistent, safe, and compassionate care.

This position would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Residential Childcare Worker, Family Support Worker, or Youth Worker.

• Encourage Independence: Support young people with life skills, cooking, and sensory activities.
• Provide Reassurance: Handle challenging episodes, including physical aggression, with absolute calm and composure.
• Report Safely: Provide precise paperwork to ensure strict safeguarding measures are met daily.

• Track Record: At least 6 months of paid experience within UK children or adult services.
• Competencies: Reliable, resilient, and deeply committed to high standards of safeguarding.
• Driver: A full UK driving licence and vehicle is required due to some community travel.
