Class 1 Driver – East Midlands Airport

Location: East Midlands Airport
Pay Rate: £16.60 per hour
Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours
Shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 06:00 – 14:00
Breaks: Paid breaks
Job Type: Ongoing / Temporary

We are currently recruiting for Class 1 (HGV C+E) Drivers to join a busy and well-established operation based at East Midlands Airport on a short term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Class 1 Drivers looking for consistent hours, excellent pay and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced aviation environment.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly.

• Completing deliveries and collections.

• Loading and unloading goods where required.

• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.

• Working closely with the warehouse and operational teams.

• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.

• Following all company, airport and health & safety procedures.

About You

We’re looking for drivers who:

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.

• Have previous Class 1 driving experience.

• Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Have a good understanding of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations.

• Have a strong safety focus.

• Are reliable, punctual and professional.

• Are comfortable working in a busy operational environment.
