Aviation Recruitment Network (ARN) is searching for enthusiastic Cargo Warehouse Operatives to join our high-energy team at East Midlands Airport. If you’re looking for a role that’s hands-on, fast-paced, and full of opportunity - this is it.
What You’ll Be Doing
Become a key player in the airport cargo operation:
- Loading and unloading freight from lorries and aircraft containers
- Sorting parcels and cargo (up to 20 kg) on a busy, high-speed sorting line
- Using handheld scanners to track and record shipments
- Working safely and efficiently in a secure aviation environment
We offer flexible, 7-day shift patterns such as:
- 06:00 - 15:00
- 15:00 - 00:00
- £13.00 – £13.25 per hour
- Weekly pay — no waiting around
- Full training is provided (no prior experience required!)
- On-site canteen, kitchen spaces & hot drink machines
- A fast-moving environment where every day is different
- A 5-year checkable work/education history (2021 - present)
- Ability to complete a criminal record check (cost reimbursed after 4 weeks)
- Willingness to train, learn, and work as part of a team
- Reliability, energy, and a can-do attitude
