This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on individual to support the upkeep, maintenance, and presentation of a large and diverse estate, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Working as part of the Estates & Facilities team, you will help maintain grounds, buildings, and facilities while supporting day-to-day maintenance activities across the site. Key Responsibilities Maintain lawns, sports areas, gardens, pathways, and external spaces. Carry out general grounds maintenance, landscaping, and seasonal duties. Support planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the site. Assist with event setup, site presentations, and deliveries. Conduct routine safety and maintenance checks. Support fire safety procedures, site security, and general premises operations. Help ensure the estate remains safe, clean, and well-maintained at all times. About You Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, facilities, or general maintenance. Practical skills in areas such as decorating, carpentry, plumbing, or basic repairs. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach. Reliable, flexible, and committed to high standards. Relevant grounds maintenance or trade qualifications are desirable. Additional Information This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
