Service Advisor

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a Service Advisor for their main dealer premises in Maidstone, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive professional to progress their career within a reputable dealership. Benefits for the successful Service Advisor: • Basic salary of approximately £33,508, with an OTE of up to £36,000 • Regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00 • One in three Saturdays, 08:00 – 13:00, on a rota • Opportunities for training and career progression within a well-established main dealer • Friendly and professional team environment • Generous bonus potential through departmental schemes and upselling • Access to ongoing professional development Duties of the Service Advisor: • Welcome customers to the dealership in a professional, friendly manner • Manage service bookings efficiently and liaise with technicians regarding vehicle servicing and repairs • Provide customers with timely updates on vehicle progress and costs • Prepare accurate invoices and complete all necessary documentation • Handle customer queries and concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction • Assist with administrative duties related to service advising • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and quality standards Requirements of the Service Advisor: • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing automotive role • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing invoices and documentation • Proficiency with computer systems and service management software • A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential • Customer-focused, professional attitude with a high standard of customer service Contact Rhys Woods at Perfect Placement covering Maidstone and Kent, today to discover more about this fantastic opportunity.
