Job Title: Playworker (Afterschool Club)
Actual Annual Salary: £1,319 - £1,341 Based on working hours and weeks
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,949 - £26,392 (CLF Grade Aii) Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2027
Hours: 2.25 hours per week (Friday)
Provisional Start Date: September/October 2026
We are looking for an enthusiastic Playworker to join our busy after school “Tea Club” team, supporting young children through play, learning and exploration in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Playworker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. This role is essential in supporting children's development through play-based learning and age-appropriate activities within our nursery provision.
