Are you calm and approachable? Do you enjoy helping and supporting people within the community? Looking for something challenging but with a great work/life balance? Ever thought about working for Hart?
Based in North Hampshire, we are a small dynamic council, and a great place to work. There are some great benefits in joining us – great pension scheme, free parking, generous annual leave, free tea and coffee, modern town centre offices, flexible working and an employee benefit scheme.
A new opportunity has arisen within the Community Services Parking team for a Fulltime Civil Enforcement Officer – experience would be great but full training will be provided for those without experience who would be a great fit for the role.
The successful applicant will focus on ensuring that our council car park spaces are used properly and that charges are paid in accordance with the tariffs set out in each one. The role involves working within our communities to provide effective and fair enforcement.
The key responsibilities for the role of our Civil Enforcement Officer are:
As above, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
We are looking for a self-starter, who is self-motivated and enthusiastic. You will work as part of a wider team although much of the day-to-day work will be on your own out in the community. There may be opportunities to work with several teams in the Community service, including the Countryside, Community Partnership and Community Safety teams.
Whilst we are looking for someone with experience of working in a public facing and interactive role, you do not need to have specific civil enforcement experience or knowledge as training and support will be given. Training will also be provided around the relevant legislation.
In addition, you will have:
Interviews are scheduled to be held face-to-face on site at the Hart District Council Offices.
