REGIONAL HR ADVISOR

Lancashire | Permanent, full-time | £38,000–£41,000

An experienced Regional HR Advisor is required to provide practical, consistent HR support across operational sites in the North region. Reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner, you will work closely with managers on employee relations, people processes and capability development.

The role:
• Act as a trusted point of contact, helping managers apply HR policies effectively and make well-informed people decisions.
• Provide first-line advice on absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Coach managers on HR processes, best practice and appropriate courses of action.
• Support formal employee relations meetings, documentation and follow-up actions.
• Help ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently across sites.
• Maintain accurate employee relations records and action trackers.
• Monitor absence, attrition and employee relations trends, highlighting risks and recurring issues.
• Support HR health checks, audits, surveys and agreed improvement actions.
• Coordinate and deliver HR, people management and compliance training.
• Support employee engagement activities, people communications and selected recruitment activity.
• Keep up to date with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Balance hands-on employee relations support with process improvement, training and wider people initiatives.

About you:
• Experience in an HR advisory role, ideally in an operational or multi-site environment.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
• Confidence coaching and influencing managers at different levels.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyse people trends and provide useful insight.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility to travel between sites across the North region.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
