Job description

Join ICS Digital, where innovation meets expertise to create digital solutions. We are a cohesive digital community who work in the open, solving problems together and fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration. Our commitment to user-focused design and data-driven decision-making ensures that we deliver accessible services tailored to the needs of our customers.

The Digital Account Management team within ICS Digital works in collaboration with other government departments including DESNZ and ICS Corporate. We ensure that digital and technology challenges are supported throughout the lifecycle – from idea to delivery. We work closely with our digital specialists who perform a variety of roles, including but not limited to Business Analysts, User Researchers, Delivery Managers and Development teams.

Building a pipeline of future digital activity is a key artefact which this role will help create - providing a holistic view of future needs across the Departments. This helps us plan future digital development and identify possible patterns and shared requirements between multiple customers.

We collaborate with other teams across ICS Digital, including subject matter experts to validate new ideas, supporting them through governance and being a constant contact and support function throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will:

- Be the initial point of contact into ICS Digital and an advocate for the work of ICS Digital

- Act as translator and mediator for user and business needs

- Present and make recommendations to ICS' Governance Boards on new ideas for delivery

- Provide communications and information for all related digital and technology activities, and ensure consistent engagement across the business

- Advising and guiding stakeholders through processes they may not be familiar with or obtain answers to areas of uncertainty in process or technical resolution so they can be confident in meeting the assurance needs of the organisation.

- Make a positive impact on the business through reduction of costs arising from service issues, strive for increased efficiency, and improved communication through better understanding of users’ needs and reuse of existing technology and services.

- Champion the departmental commitment to continuous improvement.

The above responsibilities are not exhaustive, and the post holders may be required to undertake some additional tasks not listed above, within the remit of their grade, to support the team.
