Class 2 Driver

Location: West Thurrock, Essex
Job Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday | Start times typically between 08:00 – 09:00 (occasional evening shifts)
Salary: £32,000 per annum

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for our client, a growing and reputable logistics business, who are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their team in West Thurrock.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking to join a well-established company offering full-time, Monday to Friday work with no regular weekend requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers, primarily across the M25 and surrounding areas
• Carry out daily multi-drop deliveries in an 18-tonne vehicle
• Complete vehicle checks and ensure all deliveries are made safely and on time
• Provide a high level of customer service at each delivery point
• Ensure all driving regulations and company procedures are followed

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• Previous multi-drop driving experience is preferred
• Good knowledge of the M25 and surrounding areas would be advantageous
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
