HGV Class 2 Nights

HGV Class 2 Night Driver
Start Date: ASAP
Basic Pay Rate: £17.75ph PAYE                                                                                           
Working Days: 4 on 4 off 
Working Hours: Shift starts between 00:00 and 03:00.

 
Role Overview
Pertemps are recruiting experienced Class 2 nights Drivers to support our Client in Nursling on an ongoing basis. Temp-to-perm opportunities are available for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering bread direct to customers on a set route across the southern regions
• 6 – 12 drops per shift (depending on route)
• Securing the loads.
  
  
• Return empty baskets.
  
  
  • Health & Safety
  • Site systems
  • Required training videos

New Drivers will receive a site induction of up to 4 hours, covering:

• A minimum of two accompanied route-learning shifts.
• Additional training shifts if required before working independently.
  
  

Please note that induction and training shifts are not paid if a driver fails to complete the agreed assignment.


Requirements:

• Candidates who are comfortable working night or early morning shifts.
• Reliable drivers with a strong attendance record.
• Drivers who understand multi-drop delivery work and are committed to completing the training process.
