About the role
We are currently recruiting experienced Bus and Coach Mechanic to join a busy and professional engineering team based near London Heathrow Airport (TW6).
This is an excellent opportunity for technicians skilled in HGV, bus or coach maintenance with a background in either electrical or mechanical repairs to join a growing company and enhance their skills.
The role will be shift based, working 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 shift pattern between the hours of 0700 hrs - 1800 hrs.
Option to work 1 night shift per month (£100 additional payment).
The Coach Mechanic Role
As a coach mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of buses, coaches and heavy goods vehicles, ensuring the fleet is compliant with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
You will work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to minimise vehicle downtime and support operational excellence.

Coach Mechanic Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults including accident repairs, minor welding, body and chassis repairs.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Complete all maintenance records accurately.
- Ensure vehicles meet DVSA and company compliance standards.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a PCV, HGV, Bus, Coach or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic/Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
