Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and equipment. Your duties will include conducting regular inspections, identifying and resolving issues, and performing preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns. You will be required to carry out repairs on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as handle general upkeep tasks such as painting, landscaping, and cleaning of communal areas.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of maintenance procedures and safety protocols. You should have experience in a similar role and be comfortable using a range of hand and power tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Additionally, strong communication skills will be necessary to effectively liaise with team members and management. A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation purposes, as the role may involve travel between multiple sites.
