Groundworker

We are seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including excavation, preparing sites for construction, and installing utilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of site preparation, drainage systems, and the ability to read and interpret construction plans. You will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all health and safety regulations while on site.

Key responsibilities include operating machinery such as diggers and dumpers, laying foundations, and assisting in the installation of roads and pavements. You will also be required to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving materials, as well as ensuring work areas are kept clean and safe. A valid CSCS card and previous experience in groundworks are essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
