We are seeking a highly capable and versatile Industrial Engineer to support our sites, functions, and customers. This role requires a multi-skilled professional who can drive innovation across manufacturing and wider business functions, from early customer engagement through development, set up, and full-scale production.

You will play a key role in delivering technical, business, and project management support across a diverse range of products and programmes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative solutions for new products and processes while contributing to strategic roadmaps focused on factory capacity, infrastructure improvements, and investment opportunities.
  • Support the planning and integration of new products, technologies, and equipment to create competitive advantage.
  • Contribute to the development of new projects, technologies, and business opportunities.
  • Analyse manufacturing system performance to identify improvement opportunities using Industrial Engineering tools and techniques.
  • Determine equipment, facility, and support requirements for new products, processes, or technologies.
  • Produce detailed factory and production line layouts using AutoCAD, supporting the planning, costing, and implementation of new or modified areas.
  • Optimise assembly lines through workflow analysis, time and motion studies, ergonomics, and human factors analysis.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for projects.
  • Conduct analysis using simulation tools, value stream mapping, PFMEA, data analytics, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure product manufacturability and a smooth transition into production.
  • Perform labour estimation for electronic, cable, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Support factory safety initiatives and work cell ergonomics improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Degree in an engineering discipline such as Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or Manufacturing Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and or simulation modelling tools.
  • Strong analytical capability including statistical analysis, SPC, queuing theory, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Solid understanding of cost drivers in manufacturing, product development, and project delivery.

Desirable Experience:

  • Significant Industrial Engineering experience with strong knowledge of relevant tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Experience developing new processes, facilities, or expansions including planning, costing, and implementation.
  • Ability to create detailed technical information quickly and present it effectively at various levels.
  • Knowledge of SMT, unit assembly, box build, site facilities, supply chain, and material handling.
  • Experience mentoring or leading engineers or projects.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as Witness or similar platforms.
