Job Title: Commercial Gas Service Engineer Location: Maidstone, Kent Salary: £50,000 DOE Hours: Full-time, Permanent Working Pattern: Field-based with regional travel (South East) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join a growing and professional building services business. The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and repair works across a range of commercial sites. Key Responsibilities • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial gas boilers, heating systems, and associated plant • Undertake servicing, safety inspections, and fault-finding on a variety of commercial gas appliances • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Gas Safe regulations, health & safety requirements, and company standards • Accurately complete service reports, certification, and job documentation • Respond to breakdowns efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship • Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, and internal teams • Participate in a call-out rota as required • Maintain company-issued tools, vehicle, PPE, and equipment Skills & Experience Required • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Commercial Gas Service Engineer • Valid commercial gas qualifications (e.g. COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent) • Must be Gas Safe registered with appropriate commercial endorsements • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on commercial heating and boiler systems • Full UK driving licence • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively • Strong communication and customer service skills • Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work
