Vehicle Technician

DC Personnel are recruiting on behalf of their client for a Vehicle Technician role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established automotive dealership in Leicestershire

Working in a modern workshop with the latest diagnostic equipment, you’ll carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis while delivering work to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults

• Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately

• Support warranty and electronic Vehicle Health Check (eVHC) processes

• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity

• Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team.

Salary & Benefits :

Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm

1 hour lunch unpaid

Aim to finish at 3pm on a Friday providing all works are completed and they still get paid until 5pm. No Weekends.

Basic salary up to £40,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements :

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills

• MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential

• Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.

• NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
