Senior Structural Engineer

Overview

Atkins Search are working with a leading engineering consultancy in the East Midlands to find them a Senior Structural Engineer who will play a key role in their Derby based structures team.

Client

Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy who work interesting projects across a variety of sectors including industrial, education, residential, healthcare, heritage and leisure.

They have been in operation for over 35 years, in this time they have gained a great reputation in the industry and become a market leader in structural and civil design projects.

Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be expected to be able to take a leading role on structural design projects, working closely with Principal and Associate Structural Engineers in the business.

You will also be expected to offer guidance for the more junior members of the team, developing their professional knowledge with your experience.

Working as a Senior Structural Engineer in this business, there will be clear career progression routes for you with full support from your direct managers to achieve the next steps in your career.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Structural Engineer, the following will be expected of you –

Work as a design lead across a variety of projects as a Senior figure.
Develop the skills of junior members of the team.
Show a comprehensive working knowledge of design software.
Person

Experienced Structural Engineer.
Chartered engineer status or working towards chartership.
Natural communicator at all levels.
