Warehouse Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally and globally recognised business that is considered a leader in its field. The pay rate is £14 per hour. This role is for Warehouse Supervisor based in Lympne, Kent. Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader is essential.

Please note: Due to the location of the site, own transport is essential.

Shifts for Warehouse Supervisor:

• 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts
• 6am to 6pm or 7am to 7pm

Pay:

• £14.00 per hour
• Weekly pay while temporary
• Permanent salary to be confirmed upon successful completion of the temporary period

Main Duties of Warehouse Supervisor:

• Manage goods-in, stock movement, storage, and distribution within the warehouse.
• Complete and maintain accurate warehouse documentation, systems, and temperature records.
• Liaise with import/export agents, distribution teams, and drivers to ensure the smooth movement of freight.
• Coordinate the safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Supervise warehouse staff, allocate daily tasks, and ensure shift performance.
• Proactively resolve delivery and shipment issues and maintain high standards of health & safety, food safety, cleanliness, and security.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Experience working with perishable or food products is desirable.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A proactive leader with excellent attention to detail.
• Security screening/training is an advantage but not essential.
• Own transport is essential due to the location and limited public transport links.
