Requirements:

  • Relevant experience and teaching qualifications - PGCE, QTS (must be able to reference your recent work with 2 professional references)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
  • Able to reference your recent teaching work
  • Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Being passionate about teaching and learning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of lessons to students across KS1 and KS2 in the absence of the usual teacher
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills to maintain a productive learning environment for all the children and young people under your care
  • Support pupils wherever possible with completing their work
  • Liaise with other members of staff in regards to children's well being and development
