About the role
Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis for our client in Telford
The job role will involve the delivery of palletised goods to business and private addresses.
All work will be undertaken in a Class 1 Curtainside Wagon. Successful candidates can expect to make between 8 and 10 deliveries per day as well as a collection. There is a small amount of Handball required, however you will be provided with an Electric Pallet Truck.
It is essential that all POD’S are completed for each drop and returned to the depot manager at the end of the working day. Good Customer Service skills are required in order to represent our client in a professional manner.
Start times for this vacancy will vary between 07.30am and 08.00am.
PAY RATE £16.00-21.00
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid Driver CPC
Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of UK driving regulations
Reliable, professional and safety-focused
No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
