About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production MIG Welder to join our clients manufacturing team based in Telford TF3.
Fixed shifts
- Days 0600 – 1800 (£13.50ph)
- Nights 1800 – 0600 (£14.50ph)
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on various metals, ensuring strong and clean welds that meet quality standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Inspect finished welds and assemblies for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
Experience
- Proven experience with Production MIG welding in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with welding techniques and standards (or relevant regional standards)
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and basic math for measurements and calculations
