Warehouse Operative

Overview

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic logistics environment, supporting the efficient movement and management of stock. The successful candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Shifts are rotating weekly, Days 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and Nights 5pm – 1am)

Duties

• Handling materials efficiently, picking and packing of products
• Stocking shelves and organising stock within the warehouse
• Relabeling of products ready for dispatch
• Operating warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
• Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times
• Supporting stock rotation and inventory counts as required

Skills

• Proven experience in materials handling, warehousing, or logistics operations
• Valid forklift licence is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for suitable candidates
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
